The Lexington Children’s Museum, a children’s museum, has as its mission to create a fun and dynamic hands-on learning environment that inspires imagination and curiosity. Besides the permanent exhibits at the Museum, the Museum hosts a wide array of traveling exhibits. Annual community events include Museum-GO-Round (a street fair), Boo Seum, Holidays Around the World, New Years Noon, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Chinese New Year Celebration.
The Lexington Children’s Museum is a great place for school, church or camp groups. TheMuseum has a vast offering of programs, as well as offering summer, spring break, school day out and snow day camps.
